During the month of October, over 100 businesses throughout the state of Florida will participate in our inaugural Caring and Sharing Campaign. Why did we choose the month of October to kick off this event? Because this October, the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches will celebrate 58 years of providing a second chance to Florida’s most at-risk youth.
The goal of our Caring and Sharing Campaign is twofold. With your help we hope to gain exposure AND raise much needed funds. Florida is one of the fastest growing states in the union. Almost two-thirds of Florida’s population was born in other states.
Unfortunately, as our population grows, so does the need for our services. There is no shortage of at-risk youth in our state—our residential care services, summer camps and mobile camp programs are in demand more now than ever.
With your help, we know the 2014 “Caring & Sharing” campaign will be a great success. If you have any questions, or need additional information, please contact Wayne Witczak at (386) 688-0054. For a list of participating business in your community, click here.
