Wall of Remembrance

The names are there etched boldly in granite for all to see but it is the memories that go with those names that truly add value and meaning to the Boys Ranch Alumni Association’s Wall of Remembrance.

Billy, Mike, Paul, Barney, Jimmy, Eric, Fred, Bobby and so many more… each a boy who once lived here on the banks of the Suwannee River at the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch.  The circumstances that brought them here does not matter now, rather the memory of the time they spent here and the lives of those they touched along the way.

Family, friends, staff and Alumni joined together in a meaningful ceremony to dedicate this wall to the memory of those boys who once called the Ranch their home.  As each name was called, a flower was placed on the wall to commemorate a life, to remember a father, a husband and a son…and most of all a brother to all.
