Our vision is to create men and women who are able to face the future with a sense of Direction, Ability, and Hope

Nestled among the large oak, pine and magnolia trees scattered on the beautiful Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch land is a very special and sacred place. Marking the spot, which is and forever will be “home” for so many boys, a memorial wall was built to remember those Ranchers who have since passed away.

Granite stone etched with the names of brothers, sons, fathers, husbands and friends – all boys who once lived at the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch – will be encased in a brick wall to forever memorialize their lives and the value they brought to our world. The Boys Ranch Alumni Association wants to remember them, now and always.

The Alumni Association is selling bricks to our donor family for the Rancher Memorial. The bricks can be purchased for $125 per brick. Each brick can have three lines engraved on it with 18 characters per line. This would be a special way to remember your loved ones.

If you would like to purchase a memorial brick, please complete this form with the information of the deceased to be printed on the brick. Please print legibly with one character per blank. There will be one brick per form.

Please return this entire form and a check made payable to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Inc., with funds designated for the Boys Ranch Alumni Memorial Fund to:

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Alumni Association
P.O. Box 2000
Boys Ranch, FL 32064

Don’t forget to submit a candidate for the 2011 “Our Friend” Award. The recipient can be past or present staff, cottage parent, donor or organization.

Please mail your nomination to the Alumni Association, PO Box 2017, Boys Ranch, FL 32064. Please mark it as “Our Friend” Nomination. These need to be submitted by the August meeting of the Alumni Association.

This award will be presented during the Alumni Banquet at Open House.

This photo was found in the Youth Ranches archive of photos. Of course this looks a little to “risky” but apparently back in 1967 the Ranchers were insistent on hanging Christmas lights on the archway. Wow! The archway sure has changed since this photo was taken. Hope you enjoy this memory from the past!
